It was supposed to be an easy win for the Dolphins—at least on paper. However, the Titans did enough and the Dolphins not enough to make this game much closer than it should have been. The Titans were up 7-3 at the half. The game was tied going to the 4th quarter and the home crowd was getting restless. Olindo Mare nailed a 39 yard field goal with about 9 minutes to go in the game to give the Dolphins the 13-10 win.
Compared with the Tennessee Titans and their quarterback problems, Chad Pennington looked plenty healthy.
It seems that running back Chris Brown is tired of being a Tennessee Titan. He’s been their number one guy for the past two seasons. His agent, Wynn Silbermann, has presented a formal request to the Titans for the trade on Brown’s behalf. It could have something to due with the fact that Brown is in the last year of his contract and will earn $1.57 million this season. He came onto the scene in 2004, thanks to the departure of Eddie George.
