Bengals Defensive Tackle Gets the Taser

Bengals defensive tackle, Matthias Askew, is in trouble with the law. What’s new in the NFL right? Askew had a little run in with the police. He resisted arrest and the police had to Taser the 302-pound man. It all started when Askew forgot how to part his car. You see, he thought you park cars on the sidewalk and not the street. He did this in front of a store. Soon the police came and asked him politely to move his vehicle.

Mr. Attitude decided to ignore the police and continue shopping for CD’s. Police then told him they would ticket him. Still ignoring the police, Askew hopped into his 2004 Cadillac Escalade and tried to drive off. Askew jumped out of his Escalade and took up a “fighting stance” with the police. They were forced to Taser him to arrest him. He now faces obstruction of police business, resisting arrest and a couple of parking violations. Askew is just one of many players that took the off season as the chance to get in trouble with the law.
