This game features a couple of good defenses going at it. Last week the Bills surprised the Vikings by beating them 17-12 in Buffalo. Meanwhile, the Bears crushed the Seattle Seahawks 37-6. The Seahawks were without the MVP of the league, Shaun Alexander, and they looked flat.
So, just how good is this Bears team? If their offense continues to put up 25+ points per game, they are going to be tough to beat. The defense does have some holes though. Their run defense is a little weak. This is one reason why the lack of Alexander hurt the Seahawks. The Bills have McGahee and he’s looked good through the first four games.
This game will be played in the morning at Soldier Field and the crowd will be going nuts. It’s easy to write off the Bills in this one. They are going up against the 4-0 Bears who look to be one of the top teams in the NFC. However, this game might not be as far apart as believed by many. The Bills defense has the ability to slow down the Bears offense and McGahee could have a big day.
I’m going to pick the Bills in this one. The Bears are ripe for an upset.
