It just would not be a good NFL off-season unless there was at least one NFL player that got arrested. Yesterday, Cato June, the Colts’ Pro Bowl linebacker, was arrested, because he failed to appear in court. He was due in court for the charge of driving with a suspended license.
June, who had a great 2005 season, signed a one-year deal for $1.57 million a couple months ago. Last season he had 109 tackles and was a Pro Bowl selection. The charge is not necessarily too serious. He was released from the Boon County Jail on a $500 bond. Probably not much will come of this, but I will keep my eye on the story.
