Cofield Officially A Giant

The New York Giants are playing Johnny come lately with their draft signings. They finally signed their first 2006 draft pick. Defensive tackle, Barry Cofield, was drafted in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL draft. He’s agreed to a four year deal with the Giants. To set him up right, the Giants gave him a signing bonus of $405,000.

The Giants are really slow in signing people. Training camp is days away and they have finally signed their first player from the draft. There are still six more players left to be signed. There’s apparently no rush to sign players in Giants camp.
