Giant Injuries

The preseason has not even started (expect one game) and the Giants already have injuries mounting up. They are expected to fight for the NFC East title, but they better get healthy fast. On Monday, new Giant LaVar Arrington was absent from practice due to his knee swelling. RB Derrick Ward is out with a broken foot.

OG Chris Snee is out with a knee injury. DT William Joseph is out with a leg bruise. RB Brandon Jacobs stopped practicing due to an irregular heartbeat. TE Jeremy Shockey has a concussion. It’s the first of his career and it could open the door for future ones.

In a nutshell, the Giants are going the wrong way. The key players should mostly be ok come regular season—provided no more drop. Expect the Giants to play the preseason soft with the main guys.
