Green Injury

“Not life threatening but Game threatening”

In yesterday’s story it was reported that QB for Kansas City Chiefs Trent Green sustained a serious head injury by Cincinnati’s Robert Geathers. He is currently resting comfortably in Hospital with a severe concussion. Officials are hoping that he should be discharged by at least Tuesday September 13th. There is a huge question mark however on whether Green will be returning anytime soon. Chiefs may suffer more than Green is currently if he’s out indefinitely. Damon Huard will replace Green on Sunday when they meet Denver. Huard however has not completed a pass in the NFL since December 24, 2000. Backing Huard are Rookies Brodie Croyle and Casey Printers who have yet to prove themselves since the preseason.

The Chiefs are at +11 on the line and 40.5 on Totals. Money line not yet available. Who knows, the Rookies may just turn it around…..not!
