Steelers Look to Bounce Back

Football Online Betting – Ben Roethlisberger has started three games for the Steelers. Pittsburgh is 0-3 when he starts this season. Is Big Ben still hurt? Have we all been duped into thinking he was a great QB? The Steelers are 1-4 this season and in danger of falling off the playoff map. They are at home against the 2-2 Chiefs this weekend and they desperately need the win.

Ben Roethlisberger has yet to throw a TD this season. In fact, he didn’t throw one in the Super Bowl last season either. He’s completing 53.9% of his passes. Big Ben has 569 yards passing, which is only 189 yards per game. Even more alarming is the fact that he’s thrown 7 interceptions already – just over 2 per game.

His passer rating is 41.7 and he’s looked terrible this season. The Chiefs have won their last two games. If they can win on Sunday, they go to 3-2 – a winning record. It should be a tough game. If Roethlisberger does throw a TD, the crowd should jump up and give him a standing ovation.

I read an interesting stat in the USA Today. In their last eight home games, the Steelers have allowed 24.9 points per game. With the Steelers offense struggling behind Big Ben, points are at a premium. The defense will need to tighten up to keep this game close. Even though the Chiefs are without their main QB, Green, I still like them to surprise the Steelers at home.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that Roethlisberger will throw his first TD of the season this week. However, he’ll probably throw 1-2 interceptions and the Chiefs will escape with the win. While the remaining schedule for the Steelers is only moderate, another loss will probably kill their shot at the playoffs this season.
