Ty Law Signs with Kansas City

The Kansas City Chiefs have a new cornerback. Today, Ty Law and the Chiefs agreed to a five year contract. The new deal is reportedly worth $30 million. With the addition of Ty Law, the Kansas City Chiefs bolster their defense. Ty Law is 32 years old now, but he still has game. Last season he picked off 10 passes. He’s not done yet and the Chiefs are banking on it. Both sides report being very comfortable with the deal.

Many believed Ty Law would end up in Kansas City. It’s been talked about for some time. The Chiefs really needed to boost their defense and the addition of Ty Law will help accomplish this. Their division could be downright bloody this upcoming season. In fact, the AFC in total could be an all out war from week one. Teams that want to go to the playoffs will need to win at least 10 games this season.
