2010-2011 AFC Championship Futures Odds

It’s no surprise that the Indianapolis Colts are the early favorites. In fact, futures early on tend to just follow last season’s results. For instance, the New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers are up toward the top. How about the New York Jets?

New England 9/2    (has their time come and gone?)
San Diego 9/2   (no LT could mean less distractions and a better running game)
Pittsburgh 13/2   
N.Y. Jets 17/2   (was last season a fluke?)

Baltimore 11/1   
Houston 14/1   
Miami 15/1   
Cincinnati 18/1   
Denver 22/1    (could become more consistent)
Jacksonville 22/1   
Cleveland 30/1    (more offense this season?)

Oakland 60/1  (this should be 600 to 1)

The AFC is really loaded and many of the bottom teams really have no shot at all. Teams like the Raiders will need a miracle to even see the NFL playoffs. Miami being only 15-1 is kind of a surprise.
